Introspection is a compilation album featuring songs by Beach House, Lana Del Rey, The Marias, Suki Waterhouse, Chrissy, Lizzy McAlpine, and Cocteau Twins. The album explores melancholy as a creative catalyst instead of a negative emotion, and focuses on themes of youth, uncertainty, and self-reflection.
The process of creating this album design was challenging because so much of it was done physically instead of on a computer. I created various sets to photograph and use as the foundation of my designs. This project relied heavily on photography, which means I was pushed to learn more about photography and art direction. I had a lot of fun making sets and using an array of materials and objects.
